These are great little companion dogs. They live happy, energetic lives and while they love to run and play they also like being lap dogs, being petted or lying at your feet. Ours love to travel and I feel like I need a sled with they are assembled with their leashes. Lots of fun! They do shed a little more than others. They can be stubborn too. Generally they are quiet, but will bark at unusual situations as they want to be protective of their human caregivers.
