7 Paths Farm Soaps
My soaps are made from my goat's milk. I am looking at ways to use their surplus milk in efforts to be sustainable and productive, and to provide a healthier cleaning product for my household, as well as for others. To keep costs down on my soaps I try to buy items locally or produce them myself from the farm, not adding to the cost of buying items from great distances using more fossil fuels to bring them to my door step.
My soaps are soaps - not detergent, and not full of scents and perfumes. Today most soaps at the store are full of perfumes and scents and other things. My soaps are made at home, hand-made, hand-cut, and packaged by me personally. It is my recipe that I use to make my soaps. They are made with more milk than recommended but that is how I like them. They lather well, and have a slight to none existent scent. I hope you will try my soap and see if you like it. I have clients who like how it feels and how it makes their skin feel soft. Some even like that it is not perfumey. Even men like it as well. I have a base soap named 7 P Plain. You can use this soap or you can use another of my others that I make. I use the 7 P Plain recipe and add to it to make all my other soaps.
I color code my soaps with ribbons and they are listed as follows.
7 P Plain [blue ribbon]
Made with Goat Milk, Sodium Hydroxide, Lard, Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Oatmeal, Local Honey, and just a bit of water.
7 P Mint [cool blue ribbon]
Made with the base and I add to my soap before it goes to trace Certified Naturally Grown Mint from my garden. Can have just a hint of mint when lathering.
7 P Lemon Balm - Rosemary [Yellow Ribbon]
Made with the base of the plain and I add before it goes to trace Certified Naturally Grown Lemon Balm and Rosemary that comes from my garden and other Certified Natural Grown growers. When lathering can have just a slight smell of the herbs.
7 P Sage [green ribbon]
Made with the plain base and I add to it Sage that is Certified Naturally Grown from my garden. Can have just a slight smell of Sage when using.
7 P Goat Milk Express [brown ribbon]
From my kitchen I recycle my coffee grounds and add them to my base soap. It is good for Exfoliating and several buy it because it helps clean their hands from stains and helps after working around equipment on the farm. Good for scrubbing it is one of my favorites.
7 P Pumpkin Spice [orange ribbon]
This is one of my other favorites. I add to my base the cooking/baking spice of pumkin spices. It can have just a hint of baked pumpkin pie when lathered. It is a good exfoliant to it. One that is liked well.
7 P Apple Spice [red ribbon]
This is another good one. I add to the base apple spice baking spice. It can have a hint of baked apple pie when you lather it.
I am working on adding other types of soaps with Essential Oils from Young Living World. These oils are 100% theraputic and the company grows it own oils Organically, and extracts from the herbs to make wonderful products that are good for all kinds of uses. Aromatherapy, massage, oils for use for medicinally and just everyday uses. I am looking to add some of these oils to my soaps in the future. I prefer the home grown herbs but some oils such as Patchouli is a good one I would like to make a soap with so keep a look out in future time to come to see if I have it listed.
I sell my soaps 3 ways.
Samples are just a 1/4 size of a bar. I sell them for $1.00 a sample plus tax, shipping and handling.
I sell a bar of soap for the cost of $3.50 a bar plus tax, shipping and handling. Regular bar size average is 2 1/4 " x 2" x 1" thick.
Save and buy 3 bars for $10.00 plus tax, shipping and handling. Or buy 6 bars for $20.00 plus tax, shipping and handling.
AT this time I do not have an account set up so if you are wanting to try my soap I need to know your name, phone number to reach you with an address and how many soaps wanting to order. This information is needed to get a cost of mailing from the postal service. I will let you know what the total cost of soap, tax, shipping and handling by phone or email. I then await a money order and when recieved will email you an invoice number to your order and ship off your order to you. I am looking to a Pay Pal account soon down the road to better service orders until then please understand and I look forward to hearing from you and about the liking of my soaps. Thank you.
