HOMESTEADING WORKSHOPS

Do you have an interest in Homesteading or wanting to know how to care and raise small farm animals and perhaps start learning to grow your own garden? Do you know a school that would like a "Farm Visit" ? I am offering classes on the basics to get you started, and "Farm to School visits".

Rabbit Care Workshops

Lesson on Breeds, pet/meat/show, what to look for before you buy, feeding, care, housing, maintaining, handling, and more. Time about 1 hour.

Milk Goat Care Workshops

Lesson on Breeds, what to look for before buying, ins and outs of lease programs, feeding, care, housing, milking, handling, hoof trimming demonstration and more. Time about 2 hours.

Additional workshops can be added according to interests.

Chickens, Turkeys, Ducks and Geese Workshops

Lesson on Breeds, what to look for before buying, housing, feeding, maintaining, meat and eggs, handling and more. Time about 1 hour.

Basic Gardening Workshops

Types of Gardens, companion planting, ideas on sizes, watering ideas, varieties, succession planting, ideas of edible landscaping, and more for beginners. Time about 2 hours.

Homesteading Workshops will be $10.00 a person per hour of attendance. Minimum class is 2, maximum 10 participants per workshop. No children allowed at the workshops. "Farm to School Visits"

I charge $2.50 a student with a minimum of 20 students within a 30 mile radius from farm. Call for prices for further distances and larger number of students discount.
